Update:

       The event was a success! I had such a blast and can't wait to be part of another EBABZ event. The volunteers and organizers are ACES! Having to meet everyone that passed by my table and having really meaningful conversations was a reward. Familiar faces and new spirits make it all the more. Thank you to all that bought my zines for their collection and gifts. . Again, the kind words are appreciated and will continue the craft of self publishing. Oh, and the trades of zines with fellow artists....wow. I'm sooo extremely blessed.  Fun, fun fun.

A heart felt "Thank You" to SJSU alumni's and current students, Con Table mate neighbors, attendees, former Professors fam/friends and Mirror Orrim crew. I was extremely touched on the support of kind words, curious heads and support for the Graphic Novel/ picture book my table is working on. I am a proponent of Indy Press as well as the ever present talent that shared their work and spirit at the event. I am greatful for the synergy, and   is a catalyst for the work ethic in creating compelling art. Big up, Massive.

Zine Box Set

East Bay Zine Festival

Tabled at the Zine Festival. Big up to the total " dude corner " collective. My table mates was chill as fuck. Met several talented artist. Little to no sleep for most of the tablers that worked their assess off...respect. I had a constructive response to Skippy " Da Mofuga" from zine attendees and was really supportive of my work. Thank you for that crowd. That inspired me to really continue with my efforts. I have listed potential ideas  for the future. 2013 will come out with flushing out Skippy as a character for a more serious attempt of sequential art...I don't know what the fuck I'm doing...help! Fuck it.

We tabled it was an amazing experience. DIY really is the bare bones of seeing real raw energy and talent!

To all friends and family that were expecting Just Scheme to exhibit, I regret to inform that we will not. Days before the event, organizers returned the check to my associate claiming that they received more applicants than the actual occupancy allowed. Suffice to say that we are dissappointed for the hard efforts preparing  for this festival, we will still have zines available for sale. Apologies again and wish you all a warm Season's Greetings.
